# interactive\_login\_bad\_rep

**Explanation**

This security event is triggered by the Netography Fusion Portal when it detects traffic inbound to an Internet facing SSH or RDP endpoint from a source IP address with a bad reputation.

**What to Look For**

Interactive login sessions with suspicious IP addresses could be an indicator that your network is compromised. Examine logs on the endpoint to determine whether unauthorized access has occurred. Repeated, self similar communications might indicate sustained brute forcing activity rather than a successful compromise. Consider limiting Internet access to remote login services.
