# messaging\_google-chat

**Explanation**

The messaging\_google-chat NDM detects the presence of the Google Chat messaging application on the network.

**What to Look For**

To investigate this event, look for any instances of Google Chat being used on your organization's network. Determine if any unauthorized or suspicious users and conversations are present. Analyze both the network and endpoint data to identify further security issues and take corrective actions as necessary.
