# Quickstart: Events

After adding one or more traffic sources to Fusion, network traffic is analyzed as it is received to determine if anything suspicious or malicious has occurred. Netography includes a set of detection models configured in your account by default. You can modify these detection models or create your own. When a detection model matches the traffic in your network, it creates an **Event**.
